The GE pressure stabilizer DS3800HAIC1A1A has a modular connector for connecting to the drive and a retainer rod for securing the board in the drive. The GE pressure stabilizer DS3800HAIC1A1A also has nine jumpers and two trimmer resistor assemblies. The board also features a 20-pin connector and multiple test points.

The board is designed to be easy to install and remove from the drive. The back of the board has a modular connector connected to the matching modular connector at the rear of the board frame. The installer slides the board into the rack and presses the board until the modular connector meets. The installer then presses down on the retaining rod until it locks into place. At this point, the modular connector is fully in place and the circuit board is installed. However, there are a few caveats to keep in mind.
