The GE microprocessor board DS3800HMPK1L1K is designed for quick installation in a drive. The board has a modular connector at one end and a fixed rod at the other end. The GE microprocessor board DS1HMPK3800L1K also has a red LED indicator and three amber leds, which are visible from the front of the board. The board also houses a microprocessor, erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) module, and a 1-pin connector. It also has 34 2-pin connectors.

The microprocessor is embedded in the microprocessor slot. The microprocessor can be replaced on board. However, the procedure must be performed by qualified service personnel.
