The DC coupler has 8 analog input channels. It provides all the features users need to make simple or more complex strain - and bridge-based sensor measurements. One of these features is the ability to read signals from strain, load, force, torque and pressure sensors. Another beneficial feature of the module is the automatic calibration function under changing conditions. There is also a programmable amplifier and a programmable 4-pole Butterworth filter on each channel to provide accurate strain measurement. The 4-pole Butterworth filter provides sharp cutoff to block noise while maintaining the highest flatness within the passband. Each channel also has a separate 0 to 10 V programmable excitation source, and each channel has remote detection capabilities.
