The output voltage provided by the GE/Bently Nevada 3300 proximity sensor system is proportional to the distance between the tip of the probe and the observed conductive surface. It is capable of both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) measurements and is mainly used in vibration and position measurement applications on fluid film bearing machines, as well as in key phase and velocity measurement applications.
The system provides accurate and stable signal output over a wide temperature range. All 3300 proximity sensor systems achieve this level of performance while allowing full interchangeability of the probe, extension cable and Proximitor sensors without the need for separate part matching or bench calibration.
