MVME2100系列VME处理器模块是一系列高度模块化的单板计算机，适用于VME应用。MVME2100的核心是MPC8240, 高度集成的PowerPC架构微处理器，MPC60x类核心、 高 级内存控制器和外围组件互连(PCI)接口。

与MPC8240和PCI夹层 卡(PMC)的组合和pcmip夹层插槽，MVME2100为客户提供了工业自动化I/O扩展的高性能构建模块，电信、医疗、科学或成像应用。

MPC8240 32位微处理器，L高速缓存16KB/16KB MPC60x级，32MB板载SDRAM, 带可选ECC保护，两个用于闪存的32针PLCC/CLCC插座;起来高达1 MB的板载固件容量或用户指定的要求，用户指定的4MB板载闪存要求，一个符合IEEE P1386.1的32位PMC插槽，带有前面板和P21/O，三个32位PC MIP扩展槽,兼容带有VITA 29草案标准:一个型槽 ，带后部面板I/O和两个带前面板I/O的I型插槽，32位PCI扩展夹层连接器。

The MVME2100 series VME processor modules are a series of highly modular single-board computers suitable for VME applications. At the heart of the MVME2100 is the MPC8240, a highly integrated PowerPC architecture microprocessor with an MPC60x class core, advanced memory controller, and Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) interface.

With the combination of MPC8240 and PCI Sandwich card (PMC) and pcmip sandwich slot, the MVME2100 provides customers with a high-performance building block for industrial automation I/O expansion, telecommunications, medical, scientific or imaging applications.

MPC8240 32-bit microprocessor, L cache 16KB/16KB MPC60x class, 32MB on-board SDRAM with optional ECC protection, two 32-pin PLCC/CLCC sockets for flash memory; Up to 1 MB of onboard firmware capacity or user specified requirements, user specified 4MB of onboard flash memory requirements, one IEEE P1386.1 compliant 32-bit PMC slot with front panel and P21/O, three 32-bit PC MIP expansion slots, compatible with the VITA 29 draft standard: one type slot, one type slot, one type slot, one user specified 4MB of onboard flash memory. With rear panel I/O and two Type I slots with front panel I/O, 32-bit PCI expansion sandwich connector.
