Use DeltaV™ to mount I/O carriers horizontally to get your I/O subsystems up and running efficiently. The power/controller carrier contains the internal power bus. No external cable is required to connect the system power supply to the DeltaV controller and the I/O interface carrier.
The power/controller and I/O carrier are modular. Buy only what you need, but rest assured that as the system evolves, you can add plug and play carriers - easy!
Modular design allows flexible installation. The T-DIN rail is all that is needed to mount the power/controller carrier. The I/O interface carrier is plugged into the power/controller on the mothership. Simply insert your I/O terminal block into the carrier. The modular design approach of DeltaV systems allows you to add I/O carriers as needed.
Allows you to expand online. Additional 8 wide cargo ships can be added online as needed. The carrier expander gives you the flexibility to install I/O carriers in multiple rows of 1, 2, and 3 or 4 carriers per row.
Integrated power distribution. Controller and I/O interface power distribution is integrated into the carrier to reduce and simplify power and grounding. Operators have also integrated shielding ground bars, isolating and draining field noise away from the system's power.
