The Emerson/MOTOROLA IPMC712/IPMC761 Multifunction I/O module is an optional module that provides backward compatibility with earlier MOTOROLA Computer Group (MCG) products using the MVME761 or MVME712M transition board. Early Microgram products include the MVME2600 and MVME2700 series of SBC. IPMC712 and IPMC761 can be installed and used on the MVME5100 SBC.

Both models are designed around a PMC form factor and two modules including a PCI/ISA bridge, ultra-wide SCSI adapter, and super I/O functionality. Both modules are single width, standard length, and standard height PMC boards. They connect to the motherboard PCI bus P11, P12, P13, P14, and P15 connectors via PMC. Both modules absorb +5V and +3.3V voltages through PMC connectors.
