The TU845MTU can have up to 8 I/O channels and 2+2 processing voltage connections. Each channel has two L/0 connections and one ZP connection. The input signal is connected via a separate shunt rod TY801. Shunt rods are used to select voltage and current inputs. The maximum rated voltage is 50V and the maximum rated current is 2A.
MTU assigns two Module buses, one for each I/0 module and the other MTU. It also generates the correct I/O module address by transferring the output position signal to the next MTU. It has a mechanical lock that locks the MTU to the DIN rail
Four mechanical keys, two for each I/0 module, are used to configure MTU for different types of I/0 modules. This is a mechanical configuration only and does not affect the functionality of the MTU or 1/0 module. Each key has six locations and a total of 36 different configurations.
