The GE pressure stabilizer DS3800HAIC1E1C has a modular connector for connection to the drive and a retainer rod for securing the board in the drive. The GE pressure stabilizer DS3800HAIC1E1C also has 9 jumpers and 2 trimmer resistance elements. The board also features a 20-pin connector and multiple test points.

Each jumper consists of 3 pins embedded in the board. Pins can bend easily, so care must be taken when carrying the board or inserting plastic jumpers into the pins. When you hold the board in your hand, you can only touch the side edge of the board. This will protect the pin from accidental damage caused by bending. When inserting a jumper into the pin, align the jumper with the pin, then gently slide the jumper onto the pin. If you feel resistance, do not force the jumper. Instead, make sure the jumpers are aligned on the pins.

The three pins that make up the jumper are numbered 1, 2, and 3. When you slide the jumper over the pins, it covers 3 of the 2 pins. It covers pins 1 and 2 or pins 2 and 3.
